Be very careful that you don’t crack the CPU with any heatsink you install. The original ones have even been known to crack a cpu and render it inoperable just from mishandling (picking up by the heatsink, pressing down on one corner of the heatsink, etc).
Also, thoroughly inspect the CPU under a microscope to ensure it’s not already cracked. | | < 2 |
