| SE/30 works great but no sound |

C3, C4, C5 and C6 are actually crucial part of the audio output. With them leaking. The audio will be actually draining and finally disappear. |

Agree it needs a recap without a doubt. Even if the sound still worked it would still need to be recapped before serious irreparable damage to the logic board occurs from 36 year old capacitors leaking corrosive goo all over everything. |

I've fixed this issue by thoroughly cleaning and recapping the logic board, hopefully that's all yours needs. Thanks - cleaning and recapping the board seems to have done the trick! |
