| Posted by: Godzil on 2025-12-30 12:12:17 I have probably even more rare. A copy of the french version of ExperLogo, sadly my floppy are damaged and I am trying to image them. I know how the copy protection works (they use some poorly documented function of the .Sony driver) to change some parameter in the sector where a specific file is stored. Both copy and master use the same file (`LogoStart) but the content and sector parameters are different, they went really over with that protection. From memory the protection is fairly easy to break as the code doing the check can be easily bypassed. If I manage to create a clean floppy for the french version I will publish it, as it is really a rarity. Here ar photo of my master floppy dump (sadly lots of bad sectors) and the master sector with the non standard data prologue:    I don't want to share the images as is as there are some personal data on the disk, I would like to create a clean copy before. | |
