| Problem with DaynaPORT E/si30 network card |
Posted by: kingchops on 2016-04-20 23:48:24 You're in luck. I've been meaning to remove the hard drive from my SE/30 as I want to swap it with one from another machine. So while I have it apart I can take some high res pics of the E/Si30. I should be able to get this done either tonight or tomorrow. I'll post them up when ready.

If possible, can you remove the metal bracket (held on by the AUI screws, I think) so I can see underneath that, too? Oops, I take that back... Looking at your other pictures, I think the 'metal' behind the AUI port is actually bonded to the PCB?
And, if you have a multimeter, can you do a connection/resistance test between the pin header and the pins of the ethernet socket, and report connections and resistance? That would be REALLY useful!

Posted by: Byte Knight on 2019-04-21 17:37:30 Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I'm having the same issue with my DynaPort E/Si30 card and an Airport Express. There's an AUI port on the network card - would using an AUI transceiver fix this issue?
Thanks in advance!

Posted by: Byte Knight on 2019-04-29 10:54:25 If anyone is interested, using an AUI transceiver did fix my issue - the SE/30 is now on the Net! I got a CentreCom Cisco 210TS AUI transceiver off of eBay and all is good now.
