Fixing original 1984 disks

Thank you for sharing this information!! I have been trying to restore an old Guided Tour disk and failing, I bet copy protection is my problem. I'll try DiskDup 2.7 as soon as I get a chance.

Tanaquil, be sure to use system 6 with a machine that's NOT compatible with HD floppies. The SWIM chip can cause damage to 400k floppies, even when write protection is enabled. (i destroyed a copy of system 3.2 because of it!)

So anything until Mac SE w/ 800k drive included is preferred.

DiskCopy 6.3 can image anything.  Toast can make .ISO files, but I don't know if they're mountable with DiskCopy.
