I have been trying to restore an old Guided Tour disk and failing, I bet copy protection is my problem. I'll try DiskDup 2.7 as soon as I get a chance.
| Posted by: BadGoldEagle on 2016-03-29 01:18:12 Tanaquil, be sure to use system 6 with a machine that's NOT compatible with HD floppies. The SWIM chip can cause damage to 400k floppies, even when write protection is enabled. (i destroyed a copy of system 3.2 because of it!)
So anything until Mac SE w/ 800k drive included is preferred.
Ole, thank you for the recap! I didn't know DC6.3 was also good for CDs
| Posted by: olePigeon on 2016-03-29 09:48:56 DiskCopy 6.3 can image anything. Toast can make .ISO files, but I don't know if they're mountable with DiskCopy.
