| Posted by: CC_333 on 2016-03-18 10:11:31 Yeah, Sony still does make some decent stuff I'm sure.
Pretty much everything in the consumer market is turning to junk in my opinion, as more and more cheapskate companies outsource to China and other places where perhaps the QC isn't so good (notable exceptions are high-end smartphones and computers from Apple and others, which are still made in China, but have fairly good QC).
And I do like Trinitrons. I have a 13" Sony TV that's at least 25 years old now, and it still worked perfectly last I tried (admittedly, that was a couple years ago, when I replaced a faulty phono jack, but I'm sure it would still work today if I were to go and try it).

I would love to see a Soundwave as a classic Mac.

| Posted by: SE30_Neal on 2016-03-19 00:31:04 Sony was very good in the 1980-1990's tvs, stereos (althogh i agree pioneer was probably the better for stereo) walkmans, camcorders, videos, cd players and the trinitron was by far the best screen! i had a cc back at college in 1993 and loved the screen it was my cc's best feature. Myself i was a technics man for stereo, awia for my tape walkman, sony tv and ps1. Fond days
