it's 10mb/sec only a with BNC, no AUI

A 10mbit hub is a very useful thing to have around for connecting old computers with.  That looks like a reasonable price to me, too, so yeah, that might be a good plan.

gee, yesss! It works.  I have my Mac II connected to the 3COM switch, which is connected to my netgear and in turn to my internet provider router.
I can access my local FTP server

DNS works I can ping nodes over the internet.

Thanks you all for the information, I couldn't do it myself.

Now I need internet FTP archives where to get system7 software: any idea?

thanks again!!

Hotline is my recommendation for an original Mac file downloading experience! I actually just got my PowerMac 7100 on Hotline again last night, after having similar issues as you. There are a few Hotline servers still serving Mac files for download.

Client here: https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/hotline

Servers are registered to trackers, a list of which can be found here: https://hotline.fandom.com/wiki/Trackers
