Hello, sorry to ask here, but i did not find any other people about TAM, i am in Blelgium and i recently got a TAM unit, without the Bose base unit, can anybody give me the pinout of the special connector linked to the bose unit (the round one), i already retro engineered some of the connections, but if i had a correct pinout it will be better!

Thanks already if someone can help, have a  nice day.

I’m not sure if a correct pinout has been reverse-engineered. It’s a 23-pin connector, right? I don’t even know what all those pins would be for. I would have expected two or three for sound, eight or so for power, but 23 sure is a lot of pins…

Oh, FYI, this subforum is about personal collections, but if you’re reverse-engineering TAM stuff, that would make a great topic in https://68kmla.org/forums/index.php?/forum/14-pci-power-mac-amp-performa/.

Seconding what @sfiera said—I don't know of anyone who has a full pinout but if you post in the PCI PowerMac forum then people will be more likely to see it, and even if nobody knows, people would be really interested to hear about what you've already worked out 🙂

Relatedly, I noticed that the interior of the umbilical plug has “18-23” written in small text, which pointed me to a familiar-looking family of connectors.
