| IIsi or IIci angle riser card? Anyone seen this before? |

What benefit does an SE front bezel have over that of an SE/30? My bad, didn't measure until just now, the floppy slot in the SE/30 always looked a bit higher in the bezel than that of the SE to me. If that really had been the case, even a few mm of extra clearance would have been nice to have.
Since we're at the point of producing new PDS adapter designs I'm back to an older notion for harvesting cubic. Fabrication a new chassis design has been a pet project. Doing one so as to support a PB100/Duo FDD from above and plenty of space is vacated beneath for a fairly tall PDS card to be installed horizontally, underneath, above the Logic Board.

If the correct thickness is available in the inexpensive 10cmx10cm prototyping format for edgecard connectors, the savings would be tremendous. The adapter would have a single $15 DIN connector and a $3 "PCI" connector in developing new expansion boards for IIsi and SE/30.. There would be no cost for connectors on inexpensive protoboards from China. Even if one needs to go with four layers to get an acceptable thickness, power and ground planes with assorted, difficult to rout traces on them would be a huge advantage for layout and signal integrity.
Angle DIN and edgecard connectors to match the opening to have your layered cake and eat it too! :lol:
