| PC Compatibility Card - PM 4400 PCI slot 1 or 2 |

get the 4MB VRAM card for the onboard video and the internal GIMO cable Does internal VRAM/Graphics supersede the Mach64 on the card when the GIMO is used? I've already upgraded the Mach64's memory
As mentioned before, the GIMO would certainly clean up a lot of extra cabling inside and out of the case. I was thinking of buying some CD audio cables, as I've only got one in the 4400 and one in the G3MT and would rather not cannibalize anything. I can't even find a GIMO cable. There was one bundled with a PC Card on ebay that sold a while back. Guess I can keep my eyes peeled.
Like omidimo, I haven't even seen a 3-PCI slot riser for sale anywhere. I doubt that parts 4400 on ebay would have it. From what I gathered, only the 160 model (based on the manual photos) had the riser. I might be wrong there.

I doubt I will ever track one of these 3-Slot Risers down unless I get a whole StarMax and at that point, one has to ask... is it worth it all this effort?

I have been looking for those, and cant seem to find any. Found 5 slot-ers, but not 3 slot-ers. Right here

Posted by: omidimo on 2019-04-30 18:08:52 WHAAAA?! @Franklinstein You are awesome! I had no idea that was there. I think the "03-slot" threw my searches off. Again thank you!

Good thing you have lots and lots of choices! I was thinking about that—no need to get hung up over the broken card.
Tempted to snag one of these. According to a post on System7Today, that RealTek chipset is supported and the Mac OS 9.x driver linked in the thread should work, but it appears to be mixed results(?) among its two posters in the thread…
Is there a comprehensive list other than the Proxim Wireless page that lists 7.6.1 compatible chipsets? I'd just like to avoid more runaround 🙂

Posted by: omidimo on 2019-05-01 21:35:46 Proxim may list 7.6.1 but the Farralon-era documentation states 8.1.
You might be better off getting a cheap RTL8169S card like this one.

Posted by: EvilCapitalist on 2019-05-02 05:14:18 I'll second omidimo's card recommendation. That's the one I've got in my Beige G3 and it works just fine under OS 9.x

If there isn't a 100/1000 card that will work in system 7 I might upgrade it.

Posted by: jessenator on 2019-05-16 11:09:08 Is this the type of cable required for bridging the cdrom and soundcard back into the Mac audio?

I'm fairly certain it is, but I want to be sure. Thanks
