I haven't contacted the seller yet because the platform he's on (2ememain.be) won't let me create an account (something having to do with my current IP address being in their spam list for some reason). Anybody from Belgium willing to contact the seller for me?
Anyway I've been meaning to reinstall OSX on this machine. I received the floppy to molex adapter yesterday and lo and behold, it didn't work. Just to let you guys know, it appears that some IDE to CF adapters don't play well at all with old hardware (and since IDE is now obsolete, only old hardware have IDE ports, so basically it doesn't work with a lot of stuff at all)
So instead I bought a proper SSD, a OCZ Vertex 2 120GB. Not too expensive but not particularly cheap either. The thing is, I know for sure this will work, so it's definitely worth it.
