Yeah a HD20 emu would be super awesome! Would be great to use with all the scsi-less compacts.
BMOW's final word on this project was, "its been moved to the back burner" so that is slightly promising.
maybe he will get some spare time this winter and make some progress with it. Isn't "back burner" generally code for "meh, forgeddaboutit!"? But if anyone can do it, it'll be him.

Back burners get just as hot as the front ones, albeit a bit smaller. But back burners are where you put stuff that is going to cook longer and you're not going to stir as often...
