I wouldn't delete the preferances; it might be either impossible to reconstruct them if the System software is "incomplete" in some way or another, and on the other hand they might give a clue to the machine's history.

Even the personal files might be worth taking a look at. They might tell us something we didn't know...

Take a look. This is an exception. If there's nothing interesting, then we can delete them afterwards.

FYI - We've been over this before - basically lurking around in peoples' personal stuff isn't something we discuss here.

Yup. Accessible only with ResEdit, prior to System 7.5.
