I guess that affects the Performa as well? More then likely, yeah. I think all pizza boxes suffer this problem, if not then at least the Q605, P475, and LC475 all do thanks to them being almost identical.

As for the keyboard, I like the switches on the keyboard I've got. I find that mechanical switches are too stiff for my typing style. The feel of the standard keyboard certainly requires some getting used to, but after a day or two of light use I find it's second nature.
But if you're not typing long documents then mechanical switches are probably fine. But really, don't waste your money.

I fall into the third category. I don't really care too much which one I get, so long as it does it's job reasonably well.
That's my 2ยข with the keyboard discussion.

What's the problem with the PSUs? What are the symptoms? Is it something I should watch out for? HDD not spinning up, not enough power for peripherals, etc. Mainly power problems. The caps in the power supply will start leaking. Just need recapping. ๐

Posted by: techknight on 2013-09-23 21:10:21 Well the power supply in my LCIII is going bad. Its not ticking persay, its actually firing up and working but the picture/video on the monitor is scrambled and jumping around until it warms up for a minute or two. Then its fine. Mobo is recapped.
So yea, Thats another symptom to look for.
