10.4 Tiger(PPC) was the last version of OS X to have Classic mode.
I would not even look at 10.2 Jaguar, and 10.3 Panther is meh when you can just use 10.4.
10.5 Leopard for PPC has no Classic mode. 10.6 Snow Leopard and 10.7 Lion do not support PPC.

Thanks, that's what I'll post a WTB for in the trading post and skulk about on eBay to get my grubby lil' paws upon.
If I can't find my 9.2.2 installer CD from the QS'02 installer/manuals set any time soon, will the 9.1.x Installer CD from my 10.1.1 boxed set run under 10.1.2-4-5? The implication of your (PPC) spec. leads me to believe that there were different Tiger releases for PPC & Intel? I'll be getting the full 10.4 Tiger (PPC) boxed set as soon as I can choke some money out of my ex-roommate . . .
. . . he gave the landlord more notice than he gave me! :🙂
