Orange PCware bus error

They have a file size limit which is why I didn't dump the RARs there myself (directory created).

Well, it's now up on my personal website (links on the powerbook, files hosted off of my Win2k3 server)

this is the link:

Not to nitpick but might it be available in something a bit more friendly of a format? MacRAR can't make any sense of the file after Netscape spits it out and unpacking it on a PC and moving it to the mac kills the resource fork. I always liked Stuffit files. The bin files also seem to kill stuffit expander with a -39 error.

FAT32 formatted drives ruins resource forks, NTFS doesn't.

The RAR files are not needed, they are just all the files in the directory compressed.

I'm trying to download the extracted files but Stuffit keeps choking on the bin files -39 errors.

Do you have an OS X machine and a Zip drive?

You might need to use that, or get a newer version of stuffit on the machine. That's your best bet and the only way to do it. Using an old stuffit version is the worst way of doing archives since Stuffit keeps changing their archive code

I have a zip drive however I have not had an OSX system for about two weeks (the bridge chip finally went in my G5 🙁 )

Just use MacBinary on the bin file. Download: http://www.mac.org/utilities/macbinary/ or http://www.tucows.com/preview/206992

I'm still getting error -39.

I know it's an old thread, but once I get my LC III up (converting an LC II to LC III) I am going to try to re-package these files in .sit. I will have to track down an old form of Stuffit somewhere (possibly eBay) or use a trial version or something if it exists. I will package it as old as I can.

The server I have running does use NTFS, so it shouldn't be a problem, but I will see what I can do.

Hi everybody.

Necroing this thread because I am trying desperately to make this card work - same as in your pic of 10 years ago, but without the pcmcia slot:

There are some disk images on the internet archive but I doesnt seem like they are the right one.

@coius @Unknown_K Is it possible that after 10 years you could still have those and you could upload on some macintoshrepository or macintoshgarden? Macdrivermuseum is long gone...
