It's hard to believe that people still use Dial-Up ... If you live where the choice is dial-up or Semaphore, the choice for dial-up is not difficult. It's also a handy fall-back when your ISP's ADSL goes kablooie, so pray daily for your ISP.

Or, in my case, if you live where the choice is dial-up, or "Lets Listen To The ABC News For The 10th Time In The Last Hour", the choice for dial-up is not that difficult either. 😉

I second the suggestion to try FreePPP. It works very well. I recall it being trouble-free. I do not have the same recollection about MacPPP. 🙂

Without naming names, I was referring to and sympathizing with those who live west of Camooweal. Have you never had the pleasure of sending Semaphore with emu-feather fans?
