"...I was told by an Apple insider that this case was produced for the first 10.000 Macintosh 1984 ever sold (in USA) and was given mostly to US computer dealers." An AppleInsider told me - it has not been proved by any apple officials 🙂
Maybe a saga. Does someone have a Macintosh 1984 without the signatures?

See a scan of the original signed paper used to embed the signatures of the developer team in the Mac 1984.

Posted by: equant on 2008-07-16 11:38:36 I've never seen the signed paper before, that sure makes it easier to read.
The 4 signatures you picked are interesting. It's sort of fascinating to find out which mac developers mac fans honor/relate to/whatever.
It's kind of like those web polls that were popular several years ago... "You're a Daniel Kottke!"

Posted by: MacOS on 2008-07-31 07:32:45 I was very busy at work so my RetroChallenge had to sleep for some days.
But yesterday a package from USA arrived:
My Apple //e has now a DualROM Adapter and the keyboard has a new cable.
Have a look to
