The force is strong with this one...
Force (what force)? I feel scared. [Runs up to mother for comfort].

Hmmm, I seem to recall a recent poll...

"Is this guy (me, MacDan) a dork for not knowing where to look?...

I have no idea where to start looking for old Macs to add to my collection..."

Well, I guess you can teach us all now, Mr. Quick Study and NOT_A_DORK!

Ha Ha Ha. I recall that poll. I was feeling in a liberating sort of mood and I didn't know where to look except for the Trading Post section of the forum. Then a lot of folks gave me pointers and, whala, two weeks later I have a roomful of stuff (and a TAM).

I have been looking for a TAM for 8 years.

In all my ineffectual hunts, the best deal I encountered was 1,500 Euros -- which of course I did not have.

People have been giving me the occasional Mac stuff for free because they know I am a collector, a Mac evangelist and the like, but something like this never happened to me. I mean, I've received a Performa 630, an Apple IIGs (without anything else, though), a non-functioning 128K, but a TAM? In my dreams.

All the best, Dan! Although I can't hide a bit of envy 🙂

1500 Euros is a ton of Money. You have some pretty neat things, too. Like the 128K. I believe it's repairable.

Thanks a lot and all the best to you.

Now if I could only find a 333Mhz processor from another "tray loader" for the iMac.

Yet another link to A Tall Cocktail 4 Door 1940's Cabinet, I am sure that will function as a great processor 😉

Whaaat?? Last night it was a Apple 300i SCSI CDROM drive..

Whoops. Bad cut and paste. Unfortunately I've deleted the original from my watch list. It was a 333MHz iMac CPU module for $6.95 plus shipping in the US.

Oh, that explains a lot of things.
