| Man selling a "priceless" 6100 on eBay |
Posted by: Quadraman on 2008-03-12 09:58:20 $100 shipping kills it. I don't see anything in that collection that's worth $100. Even the software is all common as dirt stuff. I can get as much of that as I want from Craigslist or Freecycle for free or close to it.

He has it back up for $110 shipped starting ... And now it's back up again, but for $9.99 starting. At one-tenth of the price on each reappearance, it should be a steal next time. Almost truly priceless.

de $9.99 RESERVE NOT MET plus $60 shipping. That's still $70 for what is a $10-$20 computer at best. Even the crap software that comes with it doesn't push the value up by very much.

I think it's pretty stupid that he didn't even test the computer to verify what he claimed. Well duh, he can't boot it up because the self-destruct devices NASA implanted in the HDD might go off! Sheesh! You gotta think these things through, man... :🙂

Posted by: Quadraman on 2008-04-08 19:24:33 Hmmm...if it really was used at NASA, maybe there's some unretouched Moon/Mars photos on the hard drive. That would make it worth it to a UFO coverup conspiracy nut.
|
Posted by: Quadraman on 2008-04-20 12:16:43 It got the opening 9.99 bid but no sale, so someone is obviously dumb enough to think this thing is worth at least $70.
|
Posted by: Anonymous Freak on 2008-04-20 21:14:35 Or someone was unobservant enough to not notice the $60 shipping charge; and/or is local to the seller, and figured he/she could pick it up locally.
