That's crazy, why would they cut off your internet for a week for bringing home a free computer?
Its because "We already have enough crap in this house". By crap she means the two computers total in this house. Well that and all the crap she buys for herself. I can't seem to reason with her.

The UHaul truck might carry 8000 lbs. I think. You would need two trips of the truck, it would definitely be a multi day operation unless you had a small army of people helping out.
To move that kind of stuff you would need a 25' truck, which would run you about $100 a day. They are typically rated to about 35,000 lbs but they lower the GVWR to 23,000 so you can drive it with regular Class C license. I think the weight of the truck itself is about 8000. So you could get 15000 pounds in it no problem.

And your parents/wife/girlfriend/husband/boyfriend/roommate(s)/guardian/whoever won't kill you and eat you for dinner and lunch? 😉

200+ Quadra 950s would be enough to build a small house...those things are massive.

The only thing that would make the iMac lot even better is if they were all rare Flower Power/Blue Dalmatian ones.

I'd like to get 222 Colour Classics...

I just want *one* IIcx - but nobody seems to have one for sale at any price!

Wow. It would be interesting to see if anyone takes them.

Oh well I don't know about that... even the nicest partner can be swayed by 222 G3 AIO's. 😛

They could kill him. That is if they could move and weren't killed when a stack of macs fall on them. It would be better than a PC related death of using vista until you commit suicide after the 10 000th "Cancel or Allow" or "Type in an Administrator Password". My vista using friend said he would gladly go back to Windows 2k to get away from everything related to vista.

It looks like someone purchased a heating system for their home pretty cheap! [😀] ]'>

Actually, now that I really think about it, to hire a truck big enough to haul all that away in one trip and a driver and laborers to do the actual moving is going to be expensive, they are going to have to PAY someone to come haul that lot away. Anyone who pays for the privilege of having to move all those machines is stupid.

I really wish the seller would consider some other method of sale. I bet if he sold the Macs off at $1 each he would move them pretty damn quick out of there, and he would make $222 instead of only $50.

The $50 was probably just so the freecycle people don't show up in a minivan thinking the machines are compacts. You know the kind who reply they want the item so bad 5 seconds after it is posted, yet have no idea what it is and when they do figure it out don't bother to call or show up.

They are looking for a recycler to show up with a team of people and large trucks to haul it away, don't think they want some kids with 2 pickup trucks showing up.
