I'm putting together an order for a few boards. Is anyone else interested in any? Also, in the options on the JLCPCB order, what are people using for these options:
Silkscreen Technology
Surface Finish
Outer Copper Weight
Inner Copper Weight
Material Type
The defaults? The default material is selected, but the help menu says they recommend FR-4 TG155 for 4-6 layer boards. |

If anyone who has placed an order with these with JLCPCB could chime in, I'd appreciate it. If you import a zip of the Gerber files into the website, can I just accept all the defaults (see post #181 above). Thanks for any guidance! |

Very cool! Made my way to 11:30 so far, but have a couple of questions:
Vinegar/Acetic Acid solution is commonly used to clean boards, but "neutralizing" another Acid makes no sense in terms of basic chemistry. Is it more the case that Vinegar breaks down the crusty (stronger?) Acidic glop deposits on boards? Vinegar is used to break down mineral deposits as a cleaning agent, but cannot neutralize acid. Chemically, Base would be required to neutralize the pH of Acid. So I've long wondered why Baking Soda pasted in water, with its mild abrasive qualities isn't the better solution?
That blue mat looks really useful, Antistatic? Mfr? Cost? Linkage? |

Alkaline solutions tear stuff up just as viciously as Acidic solutions. Common reference to Battery Juice as Acid leakage has been the source of confusion all along. Methinks we need a proper RetroComp related general chemistry reference. Is there one out there? Linkage? |

I'd really appreciate if anyone who has placed an order with JLCPCB to just verify that the defaults I listed in my previous posts were acceptable, specifically the Outer Copper Weight, Inner Copper Weight, and Material Type. I'd really appreciate it before spending time/money on this. |

I've ordered both the current and previous versions of the board, and accepted the defaults - albeit (IIRC) I had to manually enter the size as that wasn't handled correctly. |
