Posted by: Maconthemove on 2007-07-04 20:03:56 It was this teachers last day, so the rest are history. The only Compact that was left behind was a Classic in the dead pile. lots of LC's, II's, and Image
writer printers.
Grabed a dozen keyboards with the telephone cables and 10 friendly net connectors.
A picture of all of it, is coming.

Posted by: Mike Richardson on 2007-07-04 20:31:07 Damn it that some of it was smashed. Good that you got some of it though!!! I would have rented a truck and hauled it all away!
That's awesome!
Can't wait for the pictures. What kind of phone jack keyboards are they, like the 128k type keyboard? I need one of those.

Nice haul! The 2x IIgs were a lucky find. And both Woz editions!

Posted by: Maniacintosh on 2007-07-05 07:53:33 IIfx, IIci, both great machines! And as for that 575, try cleaning the mobo contacts and it should fire right up.

Posted by: Bunsen on 2007-07-05 17:07:49 Oh man... how many C=64s?
|
Posted by: Maconthemove on 2007-07-05 18:41:45 Bunsen
There was one C64 complete with a box of software, a Vic-20, and a PC-10 ibm clone for the Commie stuff. The two big groups were mac and ibm clones. I took 19 Macs from the Mac group and it did not look like it touched it.

Posted by: Unknown_K on 2007-07-05 19:33:06 All those 1.4MB superdrives crushed... bummer. Think of all the 50 pin SCSI HD's that got trashed as well. Both of those items are in short supply.

Posted by: Mike Richardson on 2007-07-05 19:40:00 I would have gone back a second time at least or as many times as I could, although it does fill up your house pretty quickly.
|
Posted by: Unknown_K on 2007-07-05 19:53:33 He took 19 Macs in one shot, I have 20ish Macs and it took me years to build up to that level (after each purchase saying thats it).
You can't expect him to snag them all, and most were dupes anyway.
