| Posted by: pezter22 on 2023-08-05 16:54:55 I do have a question about the proper chips to use with the SIMMs. I bought the PCB's over a year ago and finally had the time to build the SIMMs. I bought the 72pin SIMMs with the KM41C16000BK recommended on another post. But noticed that the built chips I also purchased are using the KM41C16000CK. The issue I am having is I am getting a death chime with the SIMMs using the KM41C16000BK chips. I've checked my solder joints all is good. Is it just those memory chips are incorrect? link IIfx 16MB SIMMs -- Thanks Doug!Cooked up some 16MB SIMMs for the IIfx today based on Doug Brown's design! Worked perfectly! Thanks so much Doug! You're a legend! Needs more exalamation!!!
